Birthdays Breakfast Cooking Event Planning Mom's Star Wars Waffle Birthday Portfolio Death Star Waffles: A Birthday Breakfast to Remember By Star LaBranche Posted on March 22, 2019 3 min read 0 0 47 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr I was a little nervous about purchasing a Death Star waffle maker as novelty electronics and appliances tend not to work well, if at all. I have been burned by one too many Hello Kitty products to fully trust the appealing packaging and the fun nature of novelty products that are supposed to be useful as well as attractive. I was pleasantly by surprised when the Death Star waffle maker not only worked, but worked well. The waffle maker before use. Great details and easy to clean! First, of course, I had to pick out a recipe. I had never made waffles from scratch before. I was always a Bisquick kind of girl. But this was a special day! My mom was only turning 71 once. So I hopped onto Pinterest and located the fluffiest waffle recipe I could find. This recipe didn’t lie. The waffles were huge. Fluffy and delicious, everyone enjoyed them. The birthday girl even asked me for the recipe so she could make them at home! I find your lack of breakfast disturbing… Everyone chose The Goldenrod Waffle from my menu. I was surprised I didn’t have some takers for the other delicious combinations I came up with. But I couldn’t blame them. All along, I wanted to try the goldenrod, too! I made four goldenrod waffles and it was so fun to use the waffle maker and top the dishes with eggs and bacon. Everyone had a lovely time. I highly recommend the Death Star waffle maker for anyone who loves waffles as much as they love Star Wars. My mom and her waffle! And yes, I had one very happy birthday girl!
